update: great value for money but no tweeters and that high range is bad. Sounds flat, and even the equalizer won't fix it. Need some tweeters! The rest is solid and the bass sounds great! It will fall apart if turned on too loud, it distorts badly. But hey, that volume will still hurt your ears after a while, lol! Update from 01/03/21 -. I added a $5 set of 1 inch dome tweeters - bought them on the bay - and plugged them right in front left/right and let me tell you what - damn Batman woke up a real lot! Finally full frequency range! I'm not sure if the internal amp supports a few more surround or center channels, but even if it doesn't - the whole system is a lot louder and livelier now, TV voices and all! This is a trail that probably took me 10 minutes max. There are also Rockville HS (45 and 56) 5.1 systems and I will definitely try to add sets of these tweeters to those systems as they suffer from the same problems - all satellites are single or dual midrange with no tweeter = dumbass and / or cheap course. But hey, $5 for a pair or $9 for four of these tweeters and it's all rock 'n' roll from there. I'm finally happy and satisfied and glad I didn't spend $1000 on high fidelity systems when it was completely optional! Still 4 stars since I had to add my own tweets, but at least the system can handle it; didn't expect that! :-)
