The Creative Headset HS-600 is a beautiful headset with headphones and a noise-cancelling microphone. Whether you use it for gaming, chat, conference calls or internet calling applications, this device is worth checking out. This set works well for those who prefer the traditional style over the head. The headphones fit your head snugly, and the microphone head can be rotated to fit closer to your mouth. It's noise canceling for crystal clear sound. This set should be compared to the HS-400 set, also made by Creative. Although both sets are connected, they offer 2 different configurations that will appeal to different people. For example, instead of an overhead style, the HS-400 offers an overhead configuration, which is less secure but more convenient for some. Creative Headset HS 400 The microphone arm is extendable and the head is easily adjustable. There's also a volume control with mic mute for those who multitask. :) Unlike the HS-400, the mic boom doesn't just move side to side at will. The HS-600 microphone seems to be slightly better than the HS-400. Maybe it has something to do with the adjustable head. However, the HS-400's ear cushions feel softer. The difference is negligible, but the HS-600 may feel less comfortable with prolonged use. The sound in this headset is about as comfortable, and both come at a good price. Bottom line, if you prefer a neckband and headphones over a microphone, the HS-400 is for you. Otherwise, check out the HS-600 as it's more stable and has a microphone with a comfortably adjustable head. It's hard to find good wireless headsets in this price range, but hopefully that will change. If you don't mind a wired connection, this set is worth a look. Enoy!
