Does what it should

It does what it should. The brightness of this light is exactly where it should be. When you wake up at night and your eyes are used to the dark, it provides enough light so you can easily see where you are going. If your eyes aren't dark-adapted, there won't be enough light for you to see, but that's not what night is for. Red is great because it's the furthest away from blue light, which causes your brain to start waking you up. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it shows up too early. If the ambient light in the room is still too bright for the night light to make a difference, there is no need to turn it on. As a result, he works too many hours a day. I installed a Kill-A-Watt meter for 27 days and calculated that it costs $1.37 per year to run for one year based on an energy cost of $0.092 per kilowatt. my territory. It's not a lot, but it could be about half that if it wasn't turned on until the room was dark enough to be useful. Overall I am satisfied with this product.
