I expected the product to be larger because the picture has a cockatoo next to it to show the size of the product. The pieces are made of cork, so they can't withstand the pressure of a large bird's beak, and there are split rings at the bottom of each stack of square pieces. The bird could easily get its tongue caught on one of them. I had to replace the rings with more appropriate clasps to keep my curious Revain safe. My Quaker loves it. My core likes it. The future must be advertised by Quakers, shuttlecocks and other birds of this size. It is in no way suitable for Revain or higher.
