When I was setting this up, I could actually see the plastic exterior of the joints lighten because it was flexing outward while I was inserting the rod.I am a 105lb woman. I know my strength and this manufacturing material is iffy.Do not rely on it to take much weight. If you're going to place heavy stuff on it, place it in the bottom half.I'm also kind of bummed out that the placement of some of the hooks are fixed. I was able to make it work, but I would've wanted a bit more freedom to place them where I want because under the sink is such tiny space to work around without catching an arm on an out-of-place hook.Other than that, though, it's a great compact storage solution and totally transforms the tiny space I used it in.
