A cute little toy that will really keep little ones busy. It is difficult for ANYONE to use the stick to hit the buttons as it is attached to the bottom of the toy. Not long enough to comfortably reach all buttons, especially for a child, most likely for safety reasons. I was able to detach the stick by pulling the knot on the string out of the hole in the stick, untying the knot and removing the stick. It is still perfectly stowed away in the recess on the fox's belly (underside of the toy) so that it does not get lost. SKIP THE SHOULDER: Lengthen the rope a bit! That makes this cute little xylaphone the perfect toy!
