I tried to install a locally purchased similar item with caps on the screws but couldn't install them even after heat, lubrication and brute force. The number plate also rattled after installation. This item looks just as good as mine with black carbon fiber trim. It has a bottom lip to secure the panel, grommets to protect your car's paintwork and prevent rattling, and all matching caps fit easily and securely. Two sets of bolts/screws are supplied, one with a standard X head, the other with a torx head and installation tool, your choice to deter theft but I believe screw caps already do this.
