Washable immediately after delivery. I washed myself and followed all label instructions. I am extremely disappointed! I've bought Nautica bedding in the past (a bedding set that still looks great after 10 years!). Unfortunately, the material used for this blanket is of very poor quality. The dark blue solid material on one side formed pile balls on the material with white stripes on the back. I spent 45 minutes trying to remove the lint on one of the white stripes with a lint brush with little success. I'm returning for a full refund. This was my second return of this product. After receiving the original blanket, upon opening I noticed a dark spot/stain on one of the white stripes. Returned to Kolya by ship. The exchange went very quickly and easily - the new blanket was there within 5 days. However, as discussed above, the quality of this material used to make the quilt is poor.
