This fixture looks great and goes with about any type of interior. I was looking for something with a massive look but didn't want the traditional gaudy "crystal" chandeliers. Just realize that it takes a lot of work putting together. I'm a home builder, so I had my electrician install it, and he justly charged me an additional $100. to put it together.It isn't as heavy as other fixtures, but I was looking for a 24" diameter because I didn't have any wood blocking installed under the drywall. We were able to hit one screw into the wood truss. The other screws where toggled and it seems to be holding fine.Will be buying it again several times for the next spec homes. Highly recommended. If you are building new, I suggest installing some solid blocking at framing stage for better support.
