I bought these Tozo T12 headphones for my husband after buying the T6 model last year and I love them! I've been using it for a few days and I'm very happy with my purchase. I also bought the NC9 noise canceling model (not waterproof) for my husband to use indoors while he works, but he also wanted the waterproof version to work and then wash it in the sink. I guess I'm an old Tozo customer now. I also originally bought an older version of the T10 but I missed the volume control option so I returned it. ABOUT T12: - TOUCH CONTROLS (5*): As with T6, touch controls are responsive but NOT overly sensitive. I was concerned about this but we've tried them for a while and they seem very accurate. As with other models, the touch controls only activate when touching your skin, so won't work on contact with fabric, hair, etc., which is a relief as I live in the north and always wear a hat in the winter - INDEPENDENT EARPHONES (5*): Each earbud, left and right, can be used independently, so you can use one while charging the other. However, I don't think you can use each earbud on different devices unless they are far apart.- SOUND QUALITY (4*): I think the sound quality is good, maybe more metallic than the previous model, but I'm not Expert, so I can hardly tell the difference. - MICROPHONE (5*): When I talk to my family, they almost never notice that I use the speakerphone (at least when I'm indoors, I haven't tested them outside).- SIZE AND FIT (Small ears like mine: 3 * / Big ears like my husband: 4*): My husband finds them comfortable and secure when he runs, but they are HUGE for me and kinda bigger than the previous T6 model. Tozo's most ergonomic earphones to date are the NC9, but if you have small ears, go for the T6! Another difference is that on the T12 (and NC9) each earbud has a different shape on the right and left, meaning you can't switch sides like you can on the smallest T6 model. I hope they make them smaller in the future.- BATTERY LIFE (5*): I think the battery life is great! My husband has been using them for 5 hours straight so he's happy.- VOICE (5*): I like hearing a voice tell me if the headphones are plugged in or unplugged etc to make sure they're on. The voice is not 100% natural, but sounds much more natural than the previous model - BODY (5*): I like the size of the body. The lid opening is magnetic and can be opened 90 degrees. Also, it doesn't have the T6's problem with headphones being too slippery to pull out of the charger. - VOLUME CONTROL (5*): You can use them with your Smart TV and easily increase or decrease the volume. Some models don't have volume control and you need to control them with your device, but they are not compatible with Smart TV volume controls. That's why I brought back the oldest model, T10.- CONNECTION (5*): The connection seems stable and doesn't drop when I go to another room.- WATER RESISTANCE (5*): When I run, I have I sweat a lot so I like to come home and just wash them, so I bought this model for my husband. Personally I think Tozo did a good job with the T12 and they deserve 4/5 stars!
