I used this product on a RAID1 flash array. This is a relatively difficult task for a USB hub. The hub will not work without power. The main feature is that the flash drive's 5V power signal (from 12V) is converted and regulated directly on the internal circuit board. In this way, flash drives receive a regulated 5.05V power supply and not the unstable power supply transmitted through USB cables, connectors, fuses and RF filters. RAID1 works fine even when I plug and unplug a USB microscope that consumes half a lamp. Very good. Linux recognized the hub and worked as expected without installing or device drivers. Events are generated correctly when I insert or remove flash drives or other USB devices. The RAID1 array is implemented in the B-tree file system.
