Super easygoing - I was thrilled to get this ladder as we just had a new hardwood floor in the house and I wanted this - something to help the dogs climb onto the sofa. I put it together and the zipper broke when we tried to close it. The rest of the stairs are very beautiful. It took us more time than it should have collected. Make sure you fold all the folds before trying to put it together and then everything folds over very easily and connects with velcros. Everything is labeled with letters and you simply match the letters together and attach them with Velcro. After that, attach the cover and hopefully your zipper is better than mine, so be careful how you close it. The ladder is really light and easy to move. I know these ladders are called "folding ladders" but to be honest you don't want to fold them up and down as that would be a huge pain. I think the good thing is that if you ever need to fold it back up, there's that option, but I'd just take it as something that just keeps going up. Our dogs got used to it immediately. I was a little worried they would be too thick and although the stairs bend a bit when climbing it's not a problem.
