I ordered this in light color and I love it! It is of good quality and very easy to use. You had to screw on the hinges on one side and the latches on one side, but they included a small screwdriver and screws to make this very easy. The base of our tree was quite large, it was 24 inches from one point of the stand to the other and 33 inches from one diagonal to the other side, so I couldn't square it completely, but I placed it somehow. around the tree and left it a little open at the back and you don't even notice it. (I just didn't rotate the loops on one side to leave them open) Also, I like that it still looks more like an octagon than a square. But I love the rustic term and the aged finish they did or really pretty and looks amazing with my white floors and modern farmhouse style!
