I only bought this to make a spray hole in my stainless steel kitchen sink. This is the perfect size for it. I used a variable speed drill (very low speed) and some 3 in 1 oil to lubricate. I made a dent in the center of the hole to prevent the center of the drill from slipping. I pressed firmly exactly where I wanted to make the hole. I went through the sink in less than two minutes. awesome Then I filed a new whole to remove the very sharp edges. Then I installed my atomizer. Hiring a professional would be more expensive than buying this hole saw. If you don't have a variable speed drill, this can be more of a challenge. If so, you can rent or buy one here or at Harbor Freight. It will probably still be cheaper to buy a drill and chisel than hiring a professional.
