First of all I am a retired dental hygienist and have been practicing oral hygiene for 40 years. This brush competes with the OralB brush that I always buy. They are soft - (PLEASE, PLEASE never use anything other than a soft brush!). I love that his grip is strong and nice and big to hold and guide. Sometimes the little brushes are flimsy and bend when trying to manipulate them around the mouth so the nice round handle is great. The bristles themselves are nice and soft and the little grooves keep everything under control! I love these brushes and will buy them again.
