We live on a working all season farm and my son wore his first pair every day walking and running through mud, farm muck, climbing rocks, hills and in snow/ice. After a year of rough use our first pair have held up and are still usable. We bought a new pair a year later because my son outgrew his first pair. We will probably donate his first pair because they are still in good condition. He loves them. I love that he can slip them on and off easily, but they will stay on when he is wearing them.
