I've had these for just over a year and they are my favorite riding boots. I still have a few pairs of better quality branded boots and keep coming back to ride them. The soles aren't very thick, which I like because you really feel where the stirrups are. They do not require a break-in period and are immediately ready for use. I didn't give them 5 stars because they aren't the highest quality but for the price you can't beat them. I usually ride 5-6 days a week so they are used frequently and intensively. The decorative stripe over the toe of the shoe is a weak point and started to crumble pretty quickly. I put a drop of shoe slime on each shoe and smoothed it with an ice cube to hold them together and it worked great. I'll wear them until they fall completely apart and then I'll probably order another pair.
