So I basically "recycled" old 12 ounce plastic soda bottles (with some liquid in the bottom) for this purpose with it I could smell a stale cigarette coming from my car. That makes it a lot easier to get rid of cigarette butts while driving (because of the wide opening), but not really much to put out the cigarette, so even after the lid is closed more smoke is hurled through the cabin. LED backlight is cool, helps to find the ashtray when driving at night. All in all it does what it is supposed to do, there are certainly cheaper car ashtrays that serve the same purpose.
