I understand this is a cheap lantern but even for $50 I expected better quality. The lantern came with every piece of glass torn from the real lantern. It is very difficult to put them back on as one side of the OFA glass has been glued and the other peeled off. Then one of the candles was missing two of the three screws holding it to the base. Then the small screw that only needs to be removed to change the batteries was so small that a special screwdriver was required and the screw was of such poor quality and so tightly fitted that it broke off. It took me almost 45 minutes to fix everything. To make matters worse, this lantern doesn't have a cover, which means rain does get inside, despite it being described as all-weather. It accumulates in the cavity of the candle. It might not affect the batter (more questionable given how crappy that lantern is), but you have to throw it out all the time. What a waste of money.
