I've used color-coded resistance bands for muscle therapy, so I can say that these are an excellent set for beginners or experienced users. They're in graduated levels of resistance, so a beginner can work up to more advanced levels as things progress. The bands are thin but seem strong, and their thinness means they can fit into the handy carry bag that comes with them. The workout-instruction leaflet is helpful in showing a range of exercises, and the exercises are usually seated, standing or prone, stable positions for the user. As other reviewers have said, this is like having a weight set in a small bag, suitable for travel or indoor exercise.
