I use 2 of these on either side of the front door. One of them came with a broken battery door so I had to tape it up. The switches are cheaply made and don't always work. I set them to timer mode but they don't always turn on and they don't both stay on for the same amount of time. I think it's because the switch doesn't fit. Sometimes I have to fiddle with the switch to turn them on (e.g. when I need to turn them on earlier in the winter or when changing batteries). It's like they turn on halfway between off and the timer position and turn off when the switch is in the timer position. The bad thing is that the switch doesn't stay halfway between the off and timer, so they don't turn on. What's nice, they're heavy and realistic. I want them to work.
