I'm not an inverter expert so enlighten me if you want. First, 120 watts at 12 volts is 10 amps. This device requires a 15A fuse. I believe this is to improve the capacity and safety of the facility. Many factory 12 volt outlets are protected by 10 amp fused circuits. Never install a larger fuse than specified for your vehicle. I used this on a Polaris RZR and hooked it up to a charger I installed that is protected by a 15 amp fuse. The lines are correct. This device appears to consume a 12 volt electrical load even when not using a 110 volt power supply. The cooling fan always runs when connected to 12 volts. I will be sure to disconnect it from the 12 volt supply when not in use with the engine running. I don't want to end up in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery.
