Review on Etymotic Research ER2XR-BT: Enhanced Audio Experience with Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity in Black by Dino Burks

I used to buy Etymotic ER4xr headphones which are my favorite headphones. Then I decided to buy an Er2xr with Bluetooth module for use on the go. I am very happy with the purchase. The sound isolation of deep-penetrating headphones (not for everyone) is amazing. Deep sealing gives you extremely detailed sound imaging and excellent sound quality. These things are like earbuds with high quality mini speakers inside. I used a Jabra 65t as well as a Sony Wh1000xm3 with active noise cancellation. In my opinion, the Etymotic offer much better sound quality with their passive noise isolation. The Bluetooth module works great. Good range, no cuts, excellent sound quality. The battery life is about eight hours. I tried the module with Iphone Xr, really good sound quality with AAC connector, also with Sony nwa55L and with Astell and Kern SR25 both with AptxHd connector. Very happy with the sound quality. Tried the module with other devices as well, it works like clockwork with my Er4xr and with my Final E4000. The only caveat: there can only be one Bluetooth connection at a time, and the cable needs to be attached to a shirt or t-shirt using the shirt clips provided, otherwise it'll be awkward to move. It's a bit strange at first, but once installed properly, it's comfortable. Finally, in my experience, the Er2xr with the Etymotion module offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
