I need to sand a concave surface and was hoping the yellow material on this disc would be a flexible polymer making it an improved version of the black rubber discs but was able to before Decades to go anywhere. it's not like this. It's a very tough, tough plastic. This disc might work well on something convex like the roof of a car, but it's not even good for flat work. Sand right on the edge of the disc does all the work and wears out very quickly. Spinning the disc on a flat surface would cause it to misbehave and cause digs. It goes three times for concave work. Basically, it's a real dumb product. I still have one of those black rubber rims, but it's badly worn. Rubber is not forever. I guess I'm stuck with this anyway. Why can't you get more of this?
