They just arrived and I tried them on straight away! You never know what it will be like when buying online, but I am very satisfied. I bought the turkeys and headlights - the headlights arrived today and the turkeys should be here in a few days. The medium fit is perfect - I wear shoes 8.5 and calves 14.5 (I only had a retractable tape measure) so I'm by no means tall. The average size says 8-10.5 shoes / 12-15 inch calf but I think if I was taller they wouldn't fit me. Also, I would not wear them over long leggings/tights/pants as they are not designed for that and are more likely to cause lumps. These are real compression stockings so expect a bit of work to put them on (which is a good thing!) and they are just as thick and good quality as I was hoping for. Also, as shown in the photos, they come down to the knees (I've read some reviews from other brands that said they're "knee high", but the reviewers said they're actually mid-calf). In addition, the colors are very vivid and sewn well. I'm really looking forward to wearing them for the upcoming races. Thumbs up for me, especially at this price - will probably buy other pattens in the future.
