Very accurate, despite the dangling plastic handle.

I tested this micrometer head on my gauge blocks (Class B) and found it to be accurate to two ten thousandths of an inch. This surprised me because of the very flimsy plastic grip. I have to be accurate to the thousandths of an inch in my metal shop to make an interference fit. I hope this product continues to work for me.
