Review on Elmer's Glue Stick (E579) - Disappearing Purple, Pack of 12 Sticks by Dawn Fischer

I bought these as an optical illusion. I HATE nailing things down! So I decided to try these glue sticks for gluing quilt pieces etc. together. It will turn purple but the color will not bleed and wash out with washing. I was worried it might cause some problems with my vision, but as long as you don't go crazy with it (which I didn't) it works great! I make a "Family Blanket" with one stripe for each family member (my husband and our 5 children). Later I will find a way to involve their spouses and children. So far we have one and one of them but I've wanted to do this for years before they came in. Maybe that's my next project lol) Anyway since the stripes are diagonal they create an optical illusion so it's very important to measure and make sure everything stays in place. These glue sticks really help. Here is what I pictured is part of the quilting process and how I used the glue.
