Bought two of these. I have a 6lb Yorkshire and a 3lb Yorkie. Plus a black lab. I wanted something for walking the beach with the toddlers in their bags and walking the big dog. Backpack style works. I could wear one in the front and one in the back. Sounds weird, but that's how I managed it. It's transparent so I can see them and they can see me. They liked it. The backpack is comfortable. The heavier pup certainly added weight to the straps, but I didn't get hurt. I just felt it. The bags are very high quality. I have used them for travel but we take them with us when we travel. This makes it easier to get in and out of hotels with three dogs and provides a degree of security and control. The pouches may have more air holes for puppies, but this does not affect its use. I wouldn't use it on a super hot day. I thought $50 was too much but I really needed something to help with all three dogs on my own.
