So far I've bought three pairs of rubber shoes to wear when I want to walk the dogs or just paddle around the house. Previous pairs cost less than $20, and the main reason I wanted to try the Crocs was because they looked like they had a more durable sole. I have a ton of trees in my yard and all the previous pairs were easily pierced with sticks on the ground. Crocs have so far been very durable. While not as durable as hiking boots, they have a much more durable sole and I haven't had any issues so far. They are also very comfortable and I love the ability to pause the ankle strap for easy on and off or place it on the ankle for a more secure fit outdoors. Worth the extra money.
