Review on πŸ₯‘ Black Avocado Hobo Tote Diaper Bag: The Ultimate Style with Shoulder Strap by Jennifer Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Traveled halfway around the world with us!

I already had a baby bag from Vera Bradley that I was given as a gift. While it looked nice, the handles were too short and the inner pockets never stayed in place and they fell out and got lost in the abysses of the kid's bag. more pockets to stash his bags where I could easily reach them and one with a longer strap. After a long search I found this and thought I'd give it a try. The bag isn't fancy, but the interior is very roomy and I love the side bottle pocket (although our baby was never bottle fed, it makes other small items like pacifiers and baby food very accessible). The top zipper closes. not attached to each other so the top kind lifts up giving you about an extra inch of room (but there are gaps at both ends so while none of them fell out, I'm always a little aware of someone's through them, you can put your hand in your pocket). The strap is adjustable which is very handy and there is padding on the shoulder to keep the strap from digging into your skin when the bag is too full. There are three side pockets, the large one has a magnetic closure which is nice and the side pockets are great for storing a changing pad (which is a bit flimsy but hey it was free!) and small toys or even his throws. There are only two internal pockets, one large mesh pocket and one zip pocket, so I would have liked more secure pockets. But there is so much room in it that for my 18 hour flight I have 2 sleeping bags and toys, 3 jumpsuits, an Einstein baby tune, 10-12 size 2 diapers, 2 packs of tissues, a clear "dirty" bag , filled with his eczema lotion, petroleum jelly, our toothpaste and lotion (travel size), 2-3 bottles of baby formula (individual liquid bottles just in case) and a full size baby blanket and everything fits (although the bag is bulging , but it's your fault? :D And to top it off, it has withstood the rigors of travel very well and I now use it every day in place of my Vera Bradley bag because I find it so comfortable and roomy.
