I bought this timer to use in meetings to make sure we cover all the fabric in the allotted time. When I received and tested this, I found that the top timer was flashing bright green while running, enough to hurt my eyes. I showed it to my wife to see if she wanted to keep it as a kitchen timer and she mentioned that her eyes hurt. I don't know how the manufacturer thought this was a feature this device should have. You cannot turn off the flashing light. i give it back Aside from the green light, this seems like a decent timer. If you need a bright blinking green light on your timer, this will do the job. Otherwise keep your distance.
