I always like to protect my screens with a case and screen protector. Based on my experience so far, glass screen protectors are easier to apply and offer better protection than plastic ones. SPARIN glass screen protectors meet all requirements perfectly. The price is right and you have a few spares for the inevitable dented tread; My wife's devices need new protectors every 2-3 months. The included app bezel essentially helps you line up the top of the protector, but doesn't prevent you from moving the glass during installation. I still had to re-level the glass because it slipped off after initially leveling the top. It's still a lot better than trying to see it by eye and doing it by hand. The only issue I had was that Revane packaged them in a box of sparkling ice. Anyone with common sense already knows that heavy objects bouncing around in a box with improper padding and *glass* will lead to glass breakage. Revain immediately sent a replacement but still requested the return of the broken ones. So both minor inconveniences were caused by Revain and not the supplier. Get them and protect your iPad.
