I bought this cup holder because I liked the idea of making two cup holders out of one. The problem, however, is that the cup holder is very light at the bottom compared to the outward-swinging cup holder. So what's happening is when you have a cup on a swivel cup holder, it tips over. This is very problematic when you drink. I had to spill my coffee because I put the Gatorade bottle on its spinning side. I think if they made the base heavy the idea would be great. Unfortunately, this was poorly implemented. Now I can only use it as a special drink holder that lifts up and opens wider for larger bottles.
