PERFECT lightweight and quick-drying hiking shoe for on the go

I was on vacation in Costa Rica and was looking for a specific shoe. 1. Lightweight for travel. 2. Fast drying (CR has a lot of pop up showers). 3. Mesh to keep my fingers covered and no rocks getting in. 4. Good profile so I don't slip and fall when it rains and rains. slippery. 5. Cute colors and sneaker look so I don't have to carry a separate pair of sneakers. This shoe goes with all of these things and only costs about $30? I have Keens ($85) and a pair of Oboz ($100+). And I have to say that these cheaper running shoes were comparable and even better than them. (My keens are hiking and water boots with gaps to allow rocks to get in. My oboz are fully enclosed toe boots.) I've worn these little ones all over Costa Rica, on several hikes in their cloud forests and on their beach. national park. One day it rained all day and I never slipped. This included climbing and descending stairs, trails, mud, and zip lines. They call it. They were absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. I also love shoes that are ALL black and pink. (including souls). This color combination is actually very hard to find, so I was happy about it. As for the size, I increased it by a full size. After reading other reviews I followed their advice and I'm glad I did. I usually have 7.5 sometimes 8. I have 8.5 and they fit. One of my ankles needed a band-aid, but I wasn't wearing socks either. I anticipated that, so I had them on hand. One of my legs is a bit bigger than the other, maybe that's why. I drove them in too. I think it's always good to have band-aids for new heels or hiking boots, just in case. Be sure to wash and hang them up if they get wet or moldy. Odor. But it's like leaving clothes in the washing machine for too long, you just have to keep an eye on them. I think these shoes were more of a circular profile with spikes when I first got them. The last photos I took of the shoes here are from vacation, so they may be a bit worn. But then again. Exactly what I was looking for for the price and my needs. :)

Pros
  • Impact protection: Rubber toe cap prevents foot injuries, while synthetic straps on both sides of the water shoe provide support and stability.
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine
