Received today in brand new condition not sure about the foam insert or what to do with it but the packaging really wasn't damaged just had a black spot on cardboard and good sealed with tape. I like the carry handle and it's light, the green color is nice not ugly and the fabric feels comfortable with a pillow, it seems like a simple installation will be updated later with more information. UPDATE ***** I really don't know why people are complaining, yes you should merge the clip but once you get used to it it doesn't matter. It is very light and the baby still fits in it well even though it is almost 4 months old. Everyone but me likes the triangle part, I have weak hands so I don't care but that's just me. Feels very secure with or without the base and also fits well in smaller cars like the rear of our Volvo if the child's head is not properly seated, the base needs to be adjusted properly or the trunk is to be used. Our little one handled it amazingly well and it seems very comfortable. The straps don't dig in and it feels like a sturdy, secure little car seat. ☺️☺️☺️ I'm glad I bought this, in about a month I'll be switching from this carrier to a permanent in-car cocorro. Even a piece of foam was not important.
