It was perfect for my application. I towed a boat trailer with a 4 pin spade connector that matched the tractor. I recently bought a small cargo trailer with a 7-pin bullet connector. The trailer does not have trailer brakes, but the previous owner installed a 12v socket on the trailer tongue. Rather than removing the 7 pin connector and installing a 4 pin, I chose this setup with the intention of connecting the hot wire to one of the pigtails that came with that connector. Installation was easy. Everything worked, the fuses did not blow.
