The cardboard insert pops out slightly in the center so when making standard sized cupcakes the cupcake paper would get caught under the rim of the holes in the tray. slightly larger than regular sized cupcakes (you can actually see this in the picture - I didn't realize it at the time of purchase). When I grabbed the box with both hands all the holes in the middle fell out through the top as the bottom isn't very strong either. After re-centering/storing the cupcakes, I had to place the box on a large baking sheet to transport them. While I haven't tried it yet, I find these boxes to be better for larger cupcakes, and they definitely have enough height and space to hold "all" the frosting.
