These baskets are strong enough to easily hold a large number of towels several times a week. I fold them up and hide them out of sight. Because they weigh very little (less than a pound), they can be placed on a cupboard, hung on a small hook, etc. I keep two. In my closet to carry dirty things, but they are folded and hung on a hook when needed. It's so easy to take it off, fill it over the hamper and take it to the wash. They are very easy to use and come with instructions. (They're really great for colleges and apartments where you have a shared laundry as there's room next to the hamper for laundry detergent or whatever).
