As a filmmaker and TV professional, I love my Lowel Tota Light Kit. But with the advent of LEDs, I worried that my bulbs would become obsolete - LEDs cool down and last longer than the halogen bulbs that originally powered my lighting gear. I now have the best of my lighting gear with all the benefits of LED. These LED bulbs fit perfectly and are available in daylight or tungsten color balance (warm 3000K or cool 6000K) so I can use both and not have to make adjustments with gels and filters. Plus (BIG plus) the price is great so I'm not that thrifty when I have parts in stock. I can use my extensive Lowel gear I've built up over the years with brand new LED lighting for just the price of a bulb swap. Can't wait to see how they hold up to tough everyday use; I KNOW they will survive the halogens that were made for him. In addition, the advantage of daylight or tungsten color matching as required - without expensive gels or dichroic filters - is enormous.
