Review on Get Ready To Dive With JSport By Jambu Women'S Mermaid Too Water-Ready Sandals by David Guliford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely useful for fishing, tubing, and any other water sports. A decent grip and excellent foot protection and drainage.

I'm not a fan of any of the colors except the black/navy, but that's subjective and doesn't really have anything to do with its use. And these are mighty useful. We fish and we also tube, both quite a bit, and these are just perfect. We don't have the jet ski any more, but they would have been excellent for that as well. What makes these useful is that the sole protects your foot as with any other shoe, but the upper allows water to drain out (and the sole also has 'drains' too) and the material itself isn't affected by water. They're easy-on, with a pull loop at the heel, and easy off. Set them anywhere to dry. They get dirty, rinse them off on the back porch. The sole is sturdy enough that it does a great job protecting from rocks and such, and also has a bit of gripping power to it as well (tho a slimy, mossy rock is still going to be slippery, no getting around it).The inside piece can be taken out to dry separately. The drain holes in the sole has a mesh "screen" on them - I can see where maybe they could get poked or ripped, but they're so small it doesn't seem likely. I'll keep an eye on it though, and if anything goes hinky, I'll update this. For now, though, I'm more than pleased with them.Don't forget to use the Smile.revain.com address - many things you buy every day will generate a small donation to the charity of your choice. Pros
  • Repeat purchaser. Love the color and the Jambu brand.
Cons
  • Might not be breathable enough in hot weather
