Research online. I used to use cables to secure my seat. If you use it to secure your seat I would prefer the OnGuard Akita. Besides, it's an abuse. Abuse of the highest quality. Actually, all my U-locks are from Abus. They're way better than kryptonite. 60 cm should be enough for a saddle. If you plan to use this to mount the front tire to the frame, I would recommend the longer one that Revain offers. If you're counting grams, then stick to the cable. I'm not sure how heavy it is, but I'd say it's probably 2x heavier than Tether, but that doesn't bother me for my purposes. I use this to hold my Brooks saddle more securely. Ultimately, nothing can stop thieves, but this gives me more security than some of the saddle lines available.
