Comfort: Lighter, softer, more breathable cushions ensure a significantly longer service life. I find myself reaching out for them during long sessions of use. Audio Quality: As expected, I found the sound profile to be noticeably less dynamic and detailed than my Audio Technica M50. That doesn't mean they're flat or unresponsive, they're clearly for . Neutral long-term use. My ears don't tire as quickly as with other headphones. pretty flat and no heavy bass. maybe sometimes bass light. Since this is for games I thought explosions were ok. Telark's I liked Chakovsky's version of the 18th overture for reference. These headphones had no distortion when listening at full volume on a Note 3 or PC sound card. The lack of dynamic range was only moderately noticeable in this listening scenario. When listening to other, more musical sources, I often looked for more warmth as they sounded a bit sterile compared to a dedicated set of studio quality headphones. I doubt very many video gamers would object to the sound quality. When gaming, I found the sound profile quite sufficient. The details are enough to clearly see the directions, voice chat with other players was particularly good with them. Considering the intended use, I would describe the sound quality as sufficient. The sound profile seems to be geared towards clear dialogue versus musical performance, which seems quite appropriate. Microphone: Yes, they heard me. No questions. At first I thought it was broken, but as it turns out I was speaking into the noise canceling part and not the mic, so it was indeed muted. I think that means the noise reduction works great but could potentially crash the user if he/she is unaware. Build quality: simple and durable. I'm pretty sure they'll pass the test, but I won't try :) The parts come apart and easily put back together under stress. Pretty elegant design IMO. Not very thin and not brittle. Ideal for careless children. Notes: As a parent, I prefer these ears for my kids as they are not too loud and durable. I think Plantronics is on the right track with this.
