PCB was solid but ended up working
The buttons on my original remote didn't work properly and part of the key fob that attached it to a key ring broke off. I was able to transplant all the parts into this new shell and it worked. I found that the pins that fit into the mounting holes on the circuit board weren't quite in the right place, but a judicious tilt and push put everything in place and the result was a working door remote!
