Not safe for sleep.
I just received this as a baby gift. While this is cute and all, this is absolutely not safe for a newborn. It is enormous and there is no way to safely secure it. This is not for safe sleep at all. If you want to use it for pictures by all means, but never ever let your newborn sleep in this.
