I love Gentle Leaders. They really work wonders for dogs that pull. If you adjust them carefully and give them lots of treats initially while your dog gets used to them, by the end of the first walk your dog will be pulling along like a well-trained champion. Works particularly well when training on a "loose leash". The moment your dog pulls on the leash, stop immediately. Don't move forward again until your dog takes a step back to loosen the leash. You may need to hold this position for a few minutes at first, until your dog understands that he must release the leash before the walk can continue. He will learn very quickly. I appreciate that the company put out bold "fancy" colors and patterns so they don't look so much like muzzles. It's also nice that they add a matching leash.
