I bought these for my 9 month old to wear while we went camping for 4 nights. They are so adorable and seem to be really well made but I'm disappointed they aren't staying. When he sits in his high chair it's fine and no problem but when I put him in the playpen and he stood up every time I turned around he went on the ankle of the sock. The shoes seem to fit, but it's clear they won't stay in place once the child gets to their feet. I ordered a medium size so I can try the small size and keep it when he grows a little. They feel really strong and comfortable and are holding up great after I've already washed them once on a regular cycle. For the hike I pulled on a regular pair of baby socks and layered them over them for extra insulation on a cold morning and it was great for that. Now it fits him perfectly. Almost too tight. They would be perfect for him in our house, which had hardwood everywhere but a couple of rooms. I also use them for stroller walks to keep his feet warm and they have a durable bottom in case he wants to get out of the stroller and play outside for a bit. I think he just had to grow up with them more. They also held up well in the wash.
