Review on Beck Arnley 201 1810 Ignition Starter by Cris Walton

Very easy to replace with Element

Fixed ignition problem on 2004 Honda Element. When I turned the key from the "on" position to the "start" position, I heard a buzzing noise around the steering column and the car would not start. After hundreds of tries, it finally tipped over. Very easy to replace with the item, remove the steering column cover by unscrewing the three screws underneath and separating the top and bottom of the clam shell. This starter switch has 2 screws, one on the bad bottom side, the bottom is harder to see and reach, but can be done with a regular screwdriver. Before getting into the steering column, make sure the battery is disconnected. Finally, remove the brown plug, put the new one in and reconnect/tighten everything. Great product and I saved 50% off the OEM price I was trying to get from Honda.
