The sound in the speakers is terrible! My phone speaker sounds better. The microphone cable is too short. The wire only stretches about 20 inches, but since the CD player doesn't weigh very much, it can be taken off the shelf immediately. When plugged in, it's very annoying. (If you plan on using batteries and carrying them around since you're using a microphone, the short cord doesn't matter if you have toddler-sized arms.) A vertical-fronted CD charger isn't that easy for a toddler to DIY. I think this is a very high price for such a high quality player. A $50 CD player these days should be of high quality, especially if it's being sold for small children.
