Review on Petal Pink Perfection: Discover Capezio Womens Donatella Shoes! by Matt Heringer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality, not for my feet

There is nothing wrong with these shoes, they just don't suit my foot type. For reference I have narrow Egyptian feet with slightly tapered long toes, decent arch and instep, flexible ankles, my street size is 6.5. I have worn Capezio Contempora 4.5B, RP Almaz 38 W2 and Bloch Axiom 4.5X and they all fit well. I thought I'd try something new because it was a great price and pointe shoes are expensive. Unfortunately I have to return them as they are a little short, the box is too wide and the sheet is too low. 7n ordered. I need a 7.5 double narrow with a higher vamp (which doesn't exist). In a large size I like the look very much. I know a lot of people prefer the lighter RP color, but personally I like darker colors because they suit my skin tone better. I also like the wrinkle-free platform, similar to the RP Almaz. I've included a photo to show the color difference between the Russian Pointe Almaz, Capezio Contempora and Bloch Axiom (Donatella is the top one and the one on the left - they seem smaller than they are because of the heel's elastic). From left to right: Donatella, Almaz, Contempora, Axiom.
