worked first, i got these because i had a similar one that worked fine until someone took it. But it only lasted about a week on one side and stopped completely after a month. Didn't use it all the time but did find that the metal tabs on the end of the phone had come loose. I was able to continue using it by flipping it over and plugging it in, but that stopped working too soon. I'd say you get the occasional broken unit but in this case where the metal lugs come loose I'd say it was poorly made to begin with and will be looking for something else.
